AN LRH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION BEFITTING OUR GOLDEN AGE

MARCH 14, 2014

“If ever was a moment that captures the spirit of what just transpired through the last calendar year, this is it: An LRH Birthday Celebration wherein we present what he most wished for—that perennial gift of expansion. And never was it more appropriate than now, tonight, and in the wake of a year when that word ‘expansion’ is literally synonymous with ‘eternity.’”

So began Mr. David Miscavige, Chairman of the Board Religious Technology Center and ecclesiastical leader of the Scientology religion, at the annual celebration honoring Founder L. Ron Hubbard’s Birthday (March 13). The event held in Clearwater, Florida, saw the largest gathering of Scientologists for any LRH Birthday Celebration in history.

In tribute to LRH and the legacy of his technology, Mr. Miscavige presented all that has transpired since the ribbon fell on our 21st Century Scientology Cathedral and the Golden Age of Tech Phase II proliferated across the globe.

In particular, Mr. Miscavige announced another milestone advance and the next Phase of Ideal: the creation of Ideal Continental Bases in every geographic zone. To that end, he unveiled the first Ideal Advanced Organization, opened on February 15 in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark—the Ideal Advanced Organization and Saint Hill for Europe.

Next, and inaugurated just last week, was the Ideal Pacifica Bridge on L. Ron Hubbard Way in Los Angeles. The dedication marked the full realization of LRH’s original vision for Model Ideal Organizations at every level of the Scientology Bridge: the Ideal Org of Los Angeles, the new Ideal American Saint Hill Organization, the Ideal Advanced Organization of Los Angeles, and the new Scientology Information Center on Hollywood Boulevard’s Walk of Fame.

As is the grand tradition of the annual birthday celebration, the night further featured a biographical presentation in honor of L. Ron Hubbard. Biographical vignettes provided profound insight into universal human virtues. Included were captivating tales from LRH’s travels and adventures during his researches in far-flung corners of the world—each tale providing an unforgettable glimpse into the “Book of Life” LRH authored through his journey to the founding of Dianetics and Scientology.

The night culminated with the presentation of the annual LRH Birthday Game awards. In this year of unprecedented growth, World Champions included the Ideal Mission of Los Feliz; the Ideal Church of Scientology Portland, celebrating a first-ever victory following its historic grand opening last year; and the new Ideal Advanced Organization Europe, claiming the number one title in their league.
